Match the Colors

🎯 What Is It?

  • Memory Match is a time‑trial game where you hip‑drop on tiles to reveal hidden icons (red mushroom, green mushroom, Fire Flower, green Koopa Shell).

  • There are 9 tiles (4 pairs + 1 Bowser tile). Reveal matching pairs to score coins; hit the Bowser tile and you get stunned

  • You have 45 seconds to match all pairs; each successful match nets 2 coins, and clearing all earns 10 coins

🕹️ Controls & Gameplay

Control Stick: Move

A Button: Jump

A + Z Button: Hip Drop (used to flip tiles)

Flip two matching tiles in quick succession before they revert – good memory is key!

đź’ˇ Tips & Strategy

Start systematically: Flip tiles in structured order to remember locations.

Avoid Bowser: Note any time you hit the Bowser tile—it wastes valuable seconds!

Complete all matches: Even three matches are better than none—each pair gives coins.

Stay alert: Try not to work too fast and accidentally hit Bowser.

✅ Is It the Same as Other “Match the Color” Games?

  • There are other color‑matching games in the series—like Meanie Match in Mario Party 10, which involves dragging colored enemies to matching swatches but Memory Match is the original hip‑drop tile version.

  • If you meant a different era or setup (e.g., 3DS/DS era or Wii), let me know and I can dig into that!
