🕹 What is Google Feud?
A trivia-style game based on Google Search’s autocomplete suggestions.
Not affiliated with Google—it’s a parody using their public API.
Originally released April 23, 2013 and later adapted to mobile/web apps.
How to Play
Pick a category: Culture, People, Names, or Questions (some versions add Animals, Food, etc.).
Complete the query: You’re shown a phrase like “Can you smoke…”. Try to guess the top 10 autocomplete options in 3 chances.
Score points: Each correct guess reveals part of the answers and earns points (1,000–9,000); 3 misses ends the round.
Why It’s Entertaining
Real Google-data: You’re actually guessing what millions are searching for.
Surprising/funny: Prompts and answers range from mundane (“Obama is from…”) to bizarre (“catnip”).
Known Issues
From Reddit:
“Every time I go on Google Feud it brings me a scam site that keeps asking me to allow notifications…”
“I got redirected to ‘you’re the 5 billionth visitor’ … probably hacked”.
👉 To avoid shady behavior: Use reputable portals (Poki, CrazyGames) or the official ad-free version..
Play at Home
Looking for a casual group activity? Some families set it up like a dinner game—type prompts like “Kale is…” and guess the top 10 completions while scoring points 10 → 1. Or play with friends locally by passing device turns.
